Danny McBride might have the most comical fight nominated at this year's MTV Movie Awards — thanks to his brawl with Seth Rogen and James Franco in "Pineapple Express" — and he wants everyone to know that there was nothing fake about it.

"I'm thrilled I'm nominated. I've been watching them since they began," he told MTV News of the Movie Awards. "I think the one thing we have going for us is it was a real fight that was filmed, and Franco tried to diffuse the situation. Those [other] fights are choreographed. It's the showdown that a lot of people have been looking for."

McBride is happy to be recognized, but he admitted that the "Twilight" fight has something they don't. "We don't have vampires, but we probably have the funniest fight in there," he said. "It's very close. Honestly, those girls [in 'Bride Wars'] had more fighting skills."

So what's McBride's secret weapon for taking home the Best Fight trophy? Personal grooming. "Those are all the sacrifices you make for a good movie, and it would be nice to be rewarded for buzzing all the arm hair," he said of his dedication. "It might be the first time ever [the] aerodynamic fight has won."

Though the "Pineapple" guys aren't directly competing against "Slumdog Millionaire," McBride still wants to take them to the cleaners.

"I love 'Slumdog,' but it's already had its time in the sun. Let's give it to 'Pineapple Express,' " he said.

But the real question is, where does McBride stand in the battle of the heartthrobs: Zac Efron vs. Robert Pattinson? "I'm gonna go for Efron," he said. "Team Zac Efron. I met him. He was a nice guy. He liked 'Pineapple Express.' Honestly, to tell you the truth, I don't even know who Robert Pattinson is."
