Perez Hilton may be hard on famous people a lot of the time — OK, most of the time — but the gossip blogger is actually quite optimistic about Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag's chances at a long and successful marriage.

"I think Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag are not going to last forever, but I do give them at least 10 years, which is a really long time for any couple," he told MTV News.

Perez, who has built up quite a kinship with Speidi and frequently has Twitter conversations with the pair, is looking forward to possibly attending the wedding Saturday. "Spencer and Heidi are friends of mine, I would say. I know them outside the cameras and they generally really love each other and this time they're getting married for real."

If he does make it to the ceremony — which will reportedly take place at the Westminster Presbyterian Church in Pasadena, California, with a rehearsal dinner taking place at Wolfgang Puck's restaurant Cut in Beverly Hills — he has one perfect idea in mind about what to get the pair. "A video camera," he said, adding, "so they can film their sex tape."

Speaking of filming special moments, on Tuesday, at the Paley Center for Media event in Hollywood honoring "The Hills," the show's executive producers confirmed that they'd be filming Speidi's wedding this weekend. "It's a big, gigantic event that takes the two of them to pull off," executive producer Adam DiVello told the audience.
