After missing Monday night's live taping of "Dancing With the Stars" due to a back injury, Steve-O has taken to his blog to address the matter, citing "poor judgment" as a factor in the accident.

"Physically, I feel pretty good today. If I get the opportunity, I don't see any reason why I shouldn't be able to learn and perform a great 'fox trot' routine," he blogged. "With 20/20 hindsight, I must admit that I exercised very poor judgment yesterday."

Last week when MTV News visited his rehearsal, Steve-O had already hurt his back in a separate incident. The former "Jackass" star now admits he probably should have been more careful when he went to rehearse with partner Lacey Schwimmer on Monday. "Jumping flat onto a bad back with a microphone pack strapped to it was sensationally idiotic, especially after Lacey told me what a bad idea she thought it was," he wrote.

The reality star and his partner only got a 14 out of 30 from the judges, who based their decision on the team's performance during the rehearsal. The judges noted that if he had been able to dance on the show, the score may have been better. "I was a real jerk to insist upon doing that," Steve-O added in the blog post. "I really hope that I get the chance to stay in the competition and make it up Lacey and everyone else."

On Monday night, Schwimmer told the audience that her partner's injury looked "pretty bad," adding, "He was so bummed out going into the ambulance today. ... Nothing's broken, but there are plenty of other things that could be wrong."
