BEVERLY HILLS, California — Taylor Swift was a bundle of nerves at the Clive Davis Pre-Grammy Gala on Saturday night. And the only thing that seemed to calm down the 19-year-old was the fact when she hits the Grammy stage on Sunday night, she'll have her friend, Miley Cyrus, by her side.

"We're friends, so anytime I'm performing with her, my nerves go away, 'cause she's always trying to make me laugh or is doing something ridiculous," Swift told MTV News. "It's so fun to get up there with one of your friends and get to perform on the Grammys."

Though the pair has no problems sharing the stage, when hanging out together, they don't like to talk business or swap stories about their tabloid troubles.

"We try and keep it friends and not discuss business and publicity," Swift said. "It's fun being able to be friends with someone who does the same thing that you do and not have that come into play."

Swift and Cyrus, whose new single "The Climb" debuted on the Internet this weekend, will perform Swift's song "Fifteen," off her smash album Fearless. Swift said she still can't believe that she's been offered the chance to play on music's biggest night.

"I can't believe I get to do this," she said. "You walk around and you see all the people here, and to be invited to the Grammys to perform is unreal. I can't believe it."

There are two people in particular that Swift has on her list of artists she hopes to meet at the big show. "I would love to meet Adele, and I would love to meet M.I.A.," she said. "I've also heard that Adele is really nice, so I would love to walk up to her and say hi."
