First comes love, then comes marriage ... and, for Speidi, next comes the baby carriage. After the couple eloped last month in Mexico, Spencer Pratt repeated that a little Heidi or Spencer is on the agenda.
"We definitely need a kid ASAP," Spencer said on Ryan Seacrest's KIIS-FM radio show on Monday, after Seacrest remarked that he heard the pair was trying to become parents. The couple was on the show to promote "The Hills" finale -- hosted by MTV's Tim Kash and including a performance by the Pussycat Dolls -- which will air live from New York City on Monday night (December 22).
Heidi made jokes about the baby rumors that have been swirling around the couple. "About my quadruplets?" she asked when Seacrest said she had to make her big announcement on his show. "Actually, I think they're quintuplets."
Heidi also discounted claims made by her mother that the marriage wouldn't last more than "six months," telling Seacrest that the marriage will last, "Forever and ever and ever!"
"She loves Spencer and she always says she's never seen anyone treat someone as well as Spencer treats me," Montag said regarding the rift between her new hubby and her mom, Darlene. "I think moms are just shocked at first because all moms would be, but she's really come around."
Regardless of everything being smoothed over within the family, the couple will be too busy to spend the holidays with Heidi's mom. "I don't think so, because I'll only have one day to go home," Montag explained. "We're going to New York and Vegas and then back to New York and Chicago. I'd have to fly home for one day, and I don't know if I can be in all those places at once."
Speaking of smoothing out feuds, Heidi didn't confirm that everything is cool between her and Lauren Conrad, but admits that they've mended wounds in some ways. "You've got to stay tuned for tonight, but I think Lauren and I both have had a lot that's happened in our lives and we're older now," Montag said.
"For me personally, I've missed her. That was my best friend and it's hard when that's taken out of your life. I think for both of us we just wanted some kind of closure in one way or another. It was really, really good to see her. It was definitely one of my best moments of the season."
