True, the stars headed in to Miami this weekend will have to brave Hurricane Katrina to get to this year's VMAs, but here's something to soften the blow a little bit: a gift bag jam-packed with goodies worth more than $27,000.

The gift bag itself is a denim Gap Weekender designed exclusively for the VMAs, and inside are other specially made items like a Paul Frank orange vinyl Moonman watch, an iPod shuffle with a VMA logo, a 24-karat Shu Uemura eyelash curler, and a Sean John T-shirt with gold leaf lettering that reads "Daddy's Rich."

Shay Todd is following Diddy's color scheme with a white version of the bathing suit that Paris Hilton wore in the Carl's Jr. TV ads. There's also a Frederick's of Hollywood bustier, a Nikki Beach platinum card (which allows entree to the chain of clubs that spans from South Beach to St. Barths), and paid vacations to the Inn at Palmetto Bluff in South Carolina and the Palms resort in the Turks and Caicos Islands.

And while it may not be quite as sexy to talk about, there's also StriVectin anti-stretch-mark cream and Hylexin under-eye cream in the bag.

If anyone's white-carpet-wear gets too wet, the stars will be able to slip on a pair of Gap jeans and any of the T-shirts in the bag, including vintage MTV tees, a Beavis and Butthead shirt, and a "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" top. Accessories are no problem either: for the ladies there are Taryn Rose silver ballet flats and for the guys, green and white Taryn Rose sneakers. Then everyone can cap off their look with Missoni sunglasses and a Dooney & Bourke duffle bag.

And for drowning out the constant shouting from paparazzi, there are Bose noise-canceling headphones. And once the stars are back home, there's the cruel juxtaposition of a six-month bicoastal membership to Sports Club/LA and an unlimited amount of Nestle/Wonka candy for a year. But we guess that's what the $1,000 gift certificate for a session with life coach Sherri Ziff Lester is for, right?
