An eclectic mix of rock bands, hip-hop acts, DJs and guitar-strumming troubadours have been tapped for the seventh annual Voodoo Music Experience, scheduled to take over New Orleans' City Park October 29 and 30.
Joining previously announced headliners Nine Inch Nails for this year's edition of the massive music festival, which is expected to play host to at least 80 bands, are Queens of the Stone Age, the Flaming Lips, My Chemical Romance, Cake, Social Distortion, Ryan Adams, New York Dolls, Billy Idol, the Bravery, Joss Stone, DJ Tiesto, Digable Planets, Handsome Boy Modeling School, Carl Cox, Dr. John, Louis XIV, Death From Above 1979, Prince Paul and others.
Tickets for the two-day music extravaganza will go on sale July 8 — but you'd better start hoarding your dollars now. With weekend passes priced at $53 and camping fees of $35, some concertgoers will be shelling out more than $80 before reaching the site.
The concert will feature seven stages, spread out over the nation's fifth largest urban park's 1,500 acres.
