Queens of the Stone Age are shooting a video this week for "In My Head," and while the band's label described it as an eye-popping pixelated clip with a look comparable to the White Stripes' "Fell in Love With a Girl," a more enticing description was offered up by frontman Josh Homme.

"From what I've been told, [the video] 'will involve many examples of failed attempts to control your lust, and how there is no device that can fulfill or replace the object of obsession,' " he wrote on QOTSA.com. "Now, to be honest, I don't know what that means, but it sounds like this Italian porno I saw once. Anyway, when I know more ... I'll lustfully fill your ears with objects of knowledge."

The clip is being directed by Associates in Science, a.k.a. Adam Levite, a one-man video machine who's made mind-bending clips for Beck, Interpol and Radiohead.

Meanwhile, Homme continued his knack for sexed-up sarcasm in another post, detailing a discussion — which took place after the Queens' gig at the Henry Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles last month — regarding a potential DVD.

"I heard many concepts being spitballed during a backstage meeting at the Fonda Theatre," he wrote. "Lots of truly different takes on the whole presentation of rock and roll DVDs. ... I can say that the tentative release date is November. And the boys were talking lots and lots of extras and never-before-seen stupidity. Hopefully there'll be a shower scene."

Interscope confirmed that a Queens DVD is in the works, though a release date has yet to be determined. The band is returning to the road next month for another string of live dates in support of last month's Lullabies to Paralyze. The shows start May 18 in Tempe, Arizona, and run until June 1 in Reno, Nevada.
