When the Dave Matthews Band touch down in New York for their Island Getaway festival, they'll be bringing along the Black Eyed Peas and Barenaked Ladies for the ride.

The band's two-day festival on Randalls Island, taking place July 30-31, will be an all-day, two-stage affair with mainstage support from the Ladies and Robert Randolph & the Family Band on Saturday and Randolph and the Black Eyed Peas on Sunday. Singer/songwriter Ray LaMontagne, Jem and former Soul Coughing frontman Mike Doughty will headline the side stage both days.

"It's a lot of the band's favorite groups and acts they personally picked," group spokesperson Patrick Jordan said. "They try to do one or two things every summer as a thank-you to fans. It's hard to top Central Park, but we've been wanting to do something special in New York for a while."

Jordan said the shows will start around 2 p.m. each day with alternating sets on the two stages; DMB will headline each night and play a full set. In addition to the music, the band is working on some extreme sports-type diversions, which might include everything from skateboarding and snowboarding demos to a visit from the New York Jets Experience, an interactive football event. Jordan said the band expects to play for around 70,000 fans over the course of the weekend.
