The Hives are taking their Swedish garage-rock sound, skinny ties and matching suits on the road for a North American tour, beginning in July.
On Thursday, the band unveiled a string of North American dates that follow a June run in Europe. The Hives cross the pond to play the first U.S. show on July 20 in Washington, D.C., the day their as-yet-untitled follow-up to 2000's Veni Vidi Vicious hits shelves (see "Hives Set To Sting The States This Summer With LP, Tour"). The band finishes off the tour on August 4 in San Diego.
The Hives will be supported on the North American portion of the tour by fellow Swedes Sahara Hotnights and Memphis' the Reigning Sound, according to a band spokesperson.
