Hanson are gearing up to spread their brotherly love from coast to coast.
To support their third studio album, Underneath, the trio will hit the road for a month-long tour beginning July 5 in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Zac, Isaac and Taylor have 19 shows in 18 cities scheduled thus far, including a pair of shows in New York July 14 and 16. Additional dates are expected.
Tickets go on sale beginning May 14.
Released April 20, Underneath will debut on next week's Billboard albums chart at #25. Thanks to a loyal fanbase — much of which carried over from their multiplatinum 1997 debut, Middle of Nowhere — and the new single "Penny & Me," the album sold more than 37,000 copies in its first week.
Following four records released by a major label — including a 1997 Christmas album, Snowed In, and a 1998 concert album, Live From Albertane — Hanson created their own independent label, 3CG Records, last year to give themselves the creative freedom they claim they weren't afforded on Island Records.
Hanson's most recent tour was an acoustic outing last summer (see "Hanson Showcase New MMMFolk Sound At New York Tour Stop").
