Fred Durst is using his Head on the next Limp Bizkit album. Well, it's not exactly his Head.
Korn's Brian "Head" Welch plays guitar on a couple of tracks slated for Less Is More, Bizkit's fourth studio album, scheduled for an April 1 release, according to the band's manager. A few weeks ago, Durst said that the braided axeman had assisted with guitar duties on the successor to 2000's Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavored Water, but didn't say whether he'd actually appear on the album (see ).
A vacancy arose in the guitarist slot after Wes Borland left the band last year (see "Limp Bizkit And Wes Borland Part Ways").
Head isn't alone in contributing to Less Is More. Another one of Durst's guitar mentors, former Helmet frontman Page Hamilton, also played on some tracks, and Weezer singer Rivers Cuomo lends his vocals to a song.
Although all these contributions have been recorded, it's not completely certain that they'll surface on Less Is More's final track list.
