The lineup for this year's Bridge School concerts, as usual, has a little bit of everything for everybody. Radiohead's Thom Yorke will perform solo on a bill with Foo Fighters, Ryan Adams, Vanessa Carlton, James Taylor, Tenacious D and host Neil Young, according to an event spokesperson.

Reunited Grateful Dead members the Other Ones and singer/songwriter Jack Johnson are also slated to perform at the 16th annual all-acoustic shows on October 26 and 27 at the Shoreline Amphitheater in Mountain View, California.

The fall ritual has traditionally been a place for artists to stretch their musical limbs and try out new material or new interpretations of their songs. In 1999 Green Day brought down the house with a rabid set of acoustic punk. Last year Pearl Jam debuted two new songs, one of which, "I Am Mine," is the first single from their upcoming Riot Act. Everyone from Metallica to the Smashing Pumpkins (featuring Marilyn Manson), Beck and the Who have played the event over the years.

The shows benefit the nonprofit Bridge School, co-founded by Young and his wife for children with physical and speech impairments. The celebration emphasizes the school's students by featuring a riser at the back of the stage on which many of the past and present attendees of the school are seated along with their parents and caregivers.

Most bands perform at both the Saturday night show and Sunday afternoon gig, but Foo Fighters will only play the Saturday show, and the Other Ones will only play Sunday.
