The résumé of celebrity/singer/professional daughter Kelly Osbourne may soon get even freakier.

The Osbournes' middle child is in talks to appear in the upcoming remake of the 1976 Disney film "Freaky Friday," according to an Osbournes spokesperson. Kelly is being considered to play the "musically inclined" best friend to the film's protagonist, a teenage girl who awakes one morning to find that she and her mother have switched bodies and must literally walk in the other's shoes for a day.

Osbourne is also expected to contribute to the film's soundtrack.

Lindsay Lohan, who played the lead in another recent Disney remake, 1998's "The Parent Trap," will star as the daughter, while Annette Bening is slated for the role as her mother. Production is scheduled to begin in early September.

The original "Freaky Friday" saw Jodie Foster as the teenage daughter and Barbara Harris as her mother. A made-for-TV version, which starred Gaby Hoffmann ("200 Cigarettes," "Volcano") and former "Cheers" barmaid Shelley Long, aired in 1995.
