Following a lengthy tour of Europe, Nickelback will return to North America in April for this year's Campus Invasion Tour, which will also feature fellow Canadian rockers Default and Atlanta's Injected. English reflective pop band Starsailor will play the tour's MTV2 stage.
The tour will begin April 4 at Arkansas Tech University in Russelville, and the 16 dates announced so far run through April 27 at SUNY Binghamton in Binghamton, New York. Four more dates will be announced in the coming weeks.
Nickelback are touring behind their multi-platinum disc Silver Side Up, Default are supporting their debut album, The Fallout, which came out in October, and Injected are plugging their first record, Burn It Black, out at the end of last month, and Starsailor are in the States to promote their debut album, Love Is Here, which was released in January.
This will be the sixth year for the spring outing, which last year featured American Hi-Fi, Sum41 and Saliva.
