The first National Lampoon theatrical release in seven years will be accompanied by a diverse soundtrack featuring rockers Sum 41 and Jimmy Eat World along with singer/songwriter David Mead and the Neptunes' N.E.R.D. project.

The "National Lampoon's Van Wilder" soundtrack, due March 26, also includes music from American Hi-Fi, the Living End and Abandoned Pools, among others.

Southern California foursome Sugarcult recorded a new version of their "Bouncing Off the Walls" with producer Mark Trombino (Blink-182, Jimmy Eat World) to be the first single from the soundtrack. Foo Fighters guitarist Chris Shiflett guests on the track, which will hit radio and video outlets on February 5.

Sugarcult, who have three other songs in "Van Wilder," will appear with the movie's stars, Tara Reid and Ryan Reynolds, at upcoming campus screening events on January 30 in Los Angeles and on March 15 in Panama City, Florida. The comedy opens nationwide April 5.
