Jewel and Mary J. Blige are the latest artists slated to perform at the My VH1 Awards 2001, which the cable network will broadcast live on December 2.
The ladies join previously announced performers Mick Jagger, Creed, Nelly Furtado, Destiny's Child, No Doubt, Sting and Lenny Kravitz, according to a VH1 spokesperson.
"Will & Grace" star Eric McCormack will host the second annual awards show, for which all the categories (Must-Have Album, Hottest Live Show and Your Song Kicked Ass But Was Played Too Damn Much, among them), nominees and winners are chosen exclusively by fans via VH1's Web site.
The program will take place at Los Angeles' Shrine Auditorium and air at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
U2 and the Dave Matthews Band lead the pack of nominees with six apiece, followed by No Doubt's Gwen Stefani, who has five nods. Staind and Alicia Keys each have four (see "U2, Dave Matthews Lead My VH1 Music Awards Nominees").
MTV's parent company, Viacom, also owns VH1.
