Jay-Z has been added to Saturday's Concert for New York, a benefit for terrorism victims that will also include such major names as Destiny's Child, Paul McCartney, U2's Bono and the Edge, Elton John and the Backstreet Boys.

Also new to the show is a series of original short films celebrating the spirit of New York and directed by such actors and filmmakers as Woody Allen, Edward Burns, Spike Lee, Martin Scorsese, Jerry Seinfeld and Kevin Smith, organizers said Wednesday (October 17).

Due to production reconfigurations, a limited number of additional tickets went on sale Wednesday, according to organizers. Prices start at $250.

The films will be included in VH1's live broadcast of the concert from Madison Square Garden.

Other acts on the bill include Mick Jagger, Macy Gray, David Bowie, Eric Clapton, the Who, Billy Joel and Marc Anthony (see "U2's Bono And Edge, DC, Elton, Bowie Join NY Benefit").

Organizers have not said what the artists will be performing.

The event will raise money for those affected by the September 11 terrorist attacks. VH1 is one of the show's sponsors.
