A pro-choice benefit featuring Alanis Morissette that was scheduled for Monday has been canceled in the wake of last week's terrorist attacks.
Blues Traveler's John Popper and Chan Kinchla also were set to play the Washington, D.C., show sponsored by Voters for Choice, as were Joe Henry and Michael Franti & Spearhead. No new date has been scheduled, according to an organization spokesperson.
Morissette wrapped up her next album, for which a release date has not been set, earlier this year (see "Morissette Previews New Album At Los Angeles Show").
Feminist activist Gloria Steinem is president of Voters for Choice, which works to elect pro-choice candidates.
