It doesn't exactly rival U.S. Marshal Sam Gerard's pursuit of Dr. Richard Kimble in "The Fugitive," but officers from the Miami Police Department are on the lookout for Sean "P. Diddy" Combs.

Although no warrant has been issued for Combs' arrest, Miami police said that if they spot Combs they'll take him into custody for allegedly driving recklessly in the wee hours of the morning on June 9.

According to a police report, Combs was the driver of a silver Ferrari that zoomed through traffic, almost hitting pedestrians and other vehicles. He then ran a red light, the report said, and later brazenly pulled up to the entrance of the Goldrush strip club, almost hitting more people. Police believe the Bad Boy CEO was able to evade apprehension by running into the club and sliding out a back door.

The report also said his companion in the vehicle was Jovar Andrews, who stayed in the Ferrari while Combs fled the scene. After searching the car, police found a small amount of marijuana and arrested Andrews — on paper only. He was not detained on the promise that he would appear in court at a later date.

Strangely enough, according to police, Andrews is the cousin of rocker Lenny Kravitz, while the silver Ferrari is owned by producer Dallas Austin.

If the MPD can catch up to Combs, he faces only misdemeanor charges, as does Andrews.

"It's not like we're in an all-out manhunt," Detective Delrish L. Moss said. However the officer did go on to say the matter was not a joke. "He does need to come talk to us." Moss said the case is being investigated by the state attorney's office.

Combs recorded his third album, P. Diddy & the Bad Boy Family — The Saga Continues ..., in Miami, and it hit stores last week, almost a month to the day the car incident allegedly took place.

A spokesperson for P. Diddy said the police account is false but offered no further comment.
