It looks like an aborted tour with Jimmy Page and a stint with the British reprobates of Oasis didn't provide the Black Crowes enough encouragement to act like irresponsible rock 'n' rollers. The group is currently in the middle of a tour of Europe and Japan, and yet, like clockwork, the Crowes have already announced plans for their next North American leg.

After finishing up in Japan on July 31, the band will take three weeks off before resuming in Green Bay, Wisconsin, on August 25. The 18-date headlining tour will wriggle through the Midwest and West Coast before heading East, then South.

The Black Crowes recently debuted their new single and video, "Soul Singing," from their album Lions. The video was shot in Simi Valley, California, on May 13 between dates at the Santa Barbara Bowl and Los Angeles' Greek Theatre, where the Crowes recorded Live at the Greek with Jimmy Page last year.
