Macy Gray has been working with Mos Def, Angie Stone, Erykah Badu and the Roots' ?uestlove on her upcoming album, Id, set for release on September 18.

Gray has been working with co-producer Rick Rubin on the album, which she described as "wild" and "over the top" (see "Macy Gray's Id To Drop In September"). The track listing has yet to be determined, and some of the guests may not appear on the final version, according to Gray's manager Michael "Blue" Williams.

The album's first single, "Sweet Baby," is set for release later this month. In the meantime, "The World Is Yours," Gray's cut with Slick Rick from the "Rush Hour 2" soundtrack, has already been sent to radio stations. Williams said the song will also show up on Id, Gray's first album since her 1999 triple-platinum debut, On How Life Is.
