Richard "Humpty" Vission is mounting a 30-date North American tour in support of his eighth album, Damn That DJ Made My Day. The mix record, due July 3 on Tommy Boy Silver Label, features 34 progressive house tracks, with guest scratching throughout the album by DJ Swamp (Beck, Faithless).

Damn That DJ Made My Day's title track first single, recorded by longtime Vission collaborator Chico Bennett under the alias Adrenaline and remixed by New York spinmaster Junior Sanchez, is due June 5. Other tunes on the record include DJ Keoki's pro-Napster anthem "Pass It On" and Sebastian Leger's "Afro Dyzyak." Chicago house turntablist DJ Mea and early-'90s techno queen Rozalla also make cameos on the album.

Vission, who was nominated for the Remixer of the Year Grammy earlier this year for his work with Madonna and others, has also recently remixed songstress Nelly Furtado and U.K. DJ Carl Cox.

The host of Los Angeles' popular radio mix show "Power Tools" since 1992, Vission was also the resident DJ and music coordinator on MTV's "The Blame Game." Vission's tour dates, according to his spokesperson:
