Celine Dion, who began a hiatus from live performing in 1999, plans to take another two years off, and then return in a colossal way.
She'll perform 200 nights a year at Las Vegas' Caesars Palace starting in 2003 at a soon-to-be-completed 4,000-seat theater modeled after the Colosseum in Rome, according to Concerts West. The engagement is expected to run for at least three years.
Dion took her hiatus to start a family she gave birth to her first child in January. Her last album was 1999's All the Way ... A Decade of Song, which was a greatest hits package that included the smash "My Heart Will Go On" from the "Titanic" soundtrack as well as seven new tracks.
