Moby's Area: One tour has taken on yet another dimension with the addition of Canadian pop singer Nelly Furtado.

She'll join Moby, the Roots, Incubus, Carl Cox, Paul Oakenfold, New Order, and other yet-to-be-named artists for the roving dance/rap/rock/pop festival, a spokesperson for Furtado's label, DreamWorks, said Friday, April 20.

Furtado will wrap up her own headlining tour before popping in on the Area: One festival between July 11 and 28. Her debut album, Whoa, Nelly!, is currently No. 31 on the Billboard 200 albums chart.

The Area: One tour, which kicks off July 11 in Washington, D.C., and wraps up August 5 in Los Angeles, marks Moby's first foray into the summer-festival circuit. Area: One will hit 16 North American cities.

All details concerning Area: One, including the full artist lineup, dates, venues, and sponsorship, will be announced today (April 23) at a New York press conference.
