Jerry Cantrell will embark on a Degradation Trip of North America later this month, beginning April 20 in Portland, Oregon.

The Alice in Chains guitarist recorded his second solo album, Degradation Trip, Vol. 1 and 2, in San Francisco and plans to release it as a double CD after he finds a label. Columbia dropped Cantrell in 1999, a year after the release of his solo debut, Boggy Depot. Cantrell will tour with former Faith No More drummer Mike Bordin, Ozzy Osbourne bassist Robert Trujillo — both of whom worked on the new album — and guitarist Brian Kehoe.
