Detroit-based horror rappers Insane Clown Posse are about to remind us how bizarre they really are. Beginning January 10 in Cincinnati, partners in rhyme Shaggy 2 Dope and Violent J will arm themselves with Faygo soda and take their freak show on the road for a short string of dates in support of their two Halloween releases, Bizaar and Bizzar. With scarce (if any) mainstream media exposure, Bizaar and Bizzar debuted on the Billboard 200 at #20 and #21 respectively, thanks to ICP's ever-loyal Juggalo fanbase and radio exposure of "Let's Go All the Way," a lyrically altered version of Sly Fox's 1986 pop hit. The two albums comprise the group's sixth and seventh studio efforts.
Opening the show for the Motor City maniacs are the rap-metal sextet Marz, featuring former Ministry members Zlatko Hukic (vocals), Louis Svitek (guitar), and Rey Washam (drums) along with guitarist Pat de la Garza, bassist Troy Gourley and programmer Robert Hill. Marz are touring in support of their debut album, Lung Fu Mo She. In other ICP news, Chaos! Comics will release "Pendulum's Promise," the seventh installment of its "Pendulum" comic-book series featuring the wicked Clowns, on January 12. The issue includes a CD with three exclusive ICP tracks: "What Rydas Do for Money," "Who Wanna Flex" and "I Don't Wanna Die." Past issues have included only one exclusive track.
