The fallout from Woodstock '99 continues with confirmed reports of four on-site rapes being investigated by New York State Police and more being reported by area rape counselors.

Captain John Wood of Troop D headquarters in Oneida, New York told MTV News Thursday that three of the reported rapes allegedly occurred on the campgrounds, and that a 24-year-old Pittsburgh woman reports she was raped in the mosh pit during Limp Bizkit's Saturday night set.

Thursday's "Washington Post" reports that a counselor with the crisis intervention group Family Of Woodstock witnessed several assaults, including a gang rape in the mosh pit during Korn's Friday night performance.

Captain Wood also told MTV News there were two lesser degree sexual assaults reported, one of which has already led to an arrest.

Rosemary Vennero, crisis services director of the YWCA of Mohawk Valley told MTV News that their center treated two additional rape victims to the four who've already made police reports.

Woodstock '99 co-promoter Michael Lang told MTV News on Thursday afternoon that two State Police investigators are viewing crowd tapes filmed during the Limp Bizkit and Korn performances. Lang says that while reports of rape are horrible, "It's a little difficult for me to figure how a rape could happen in a mosh pit. You can barely stand. I didn't see anything that looked like an assault."

MTV News attempted to contact Woodstock co-promoter John Scher, but as of press time he was unavailable.
