Tonic will be heading for the mountains next week and is encouraging fans to do the same for a free concert sponsored by a Philadelphia radio station.

Philly's WMMR will stage its annual "Day Off At The Slopes" on January 7, and this time around Tonic will be on hand to bring its brand of alt rock chicanery to the festivities. The band will join WMMR at the Poconos' Jack Frost Resort for the show that afternoon, which will give Tonic the chance to warm up for its upcoming brief U.S. tour.

In addition to the music, WMMR is offering discounted lift passes and will also host ski competitions throughout the day.
