Charismatic British superstar Robbie Williams is finally getting some well-deserved airplay here in the United States with his high-flying romantic anthem "Angels."
At the NetAid concert earlier this month, the singer stole the sold-out London show with a rousing closing performance in which 70,000 fans joined Williams in singing the song's chorus. Despite his resounding U.K. success, the 25-year-old singer has done battle with some personal demons. As he told MTV News last week, he even suffered a nervous breakdown over the summer. "It's weird," Williams began. "I couldn't leave my house. I couldn't get out of bed. I was scared to go down to the deli 'cause people would talk to me or look at me, and I wouldn't have anything to say back to them." "I thought I was boring," he continued, Williams is currently on tour in the U.S., and he'll be in Atlanta on Sunday and in Orlando on Monday.
