The new album from Brit rockers Supergrass hits stores this week, and the band is drumming up support for the effort with a "Breakthrough" video, exclusive downloads, and a U.S. tour.
The band's puppet-inspired clip for "Pumping On Your Stereo" is making the rounds on MTV, which has tagged the video with "Breakthrough" status. Those pondering a purchase of the band's new self-titled album may find the pot sweetened by an offer that will give the first 40,000 to buy the CD the chance to download previously unreleased tracks. Those who grab the album early will find a special code that will allow users to check out five tracks previously unavailable here in the States. After sampling the songs, users will be able to download any two of the five tracks. If you'd rather check out the band through more traditional means, Supergrass will hit the U.S. later this month.
