English dream-pop outfit Saint Etienne has announced plans for a brief North American tour to start on September 21 in Vancouver, British Columbia, to support "Sound Of Water," its new release via Sub Pop Records.
The tour will mark only the third time the trio of Sarah Cracknell, Bob Stanley, and Pete Wiggs will have played the U.S. in the band's more than 10-year history. Saint Etienne is currently set to grace only 12 cities during the trek's three-week run, set to conclude with a two-night stand in New York City on October 7 and 8.
In addition to supporting "Sound Of Water," Saint Etienne's fourth LP in America, singer Cracknell will also use the outing to help promote a special U.S.-only effort, "Kelly's Locker," due out on September 12.
