After the smash success of its "Last Resort" clip, Papa Roach has decided to re-team with director Marcos Siega for its next video, "Broken Home."
Papa Roach, whose "Last Resort" was deemed "Buzzworthy" and has become a countdown staple on "TRL," plans to film the video on August 1 and 2, during off-days from its upcoming opening slot on the Korn-Powerman 5000 tour.
"It's gonna be dark, deeper, a little more emotional," Papa Roach frontman Coby Dick explained to MTV Radio. "We're using the same director, but we're going for a different look. We told him, 'You know how bands write new albums?' We want him to consider this new video that he's doing with us like a new record for him, and change [his] style up a little.
The singer also talked about some of the personal inspiration that led him to write the therapeutic track.
"It's about dealing with a broken home," Dick said. "[Your] family split up and you're a kid trying to work your way through that situation. You're living an unstable life, your folks aren't together, and you don't know how to deal with it.
Papa Roach, whose "Infest" record is currently number eight on the "Billboard" album chart, will wrap its stint on the Vans Warped Tour this Thursday in Boston and will jump on board the Korn-Powerman 5000 tour starting July 21 in Moline, Illinois.
