The Offspring are less than two weeks into its North American tour in support of "Americana," and the group is already looking forward to mixing a little business and pleasure -- by agreeing to sponsor a BMX jump-off.

The competition will be held prior to the Offspring's performance with Zebrahead at the House of Blues in Las Vegas on March 12, and will feature BMX riders Flush Fernandez and John Jesme jumping a progressive number of cars until one rider fails to complete the jump. Members of the Offspring, including frontman Dexter Holland and guitarist Noodles, will relive some of their biking past by providing commentary about the event, which is scheduled to start at 5:00 p.m. at the Fremont Street Experience near the House of Blues.

Meanwhile, prior to hitting to the road, the Offspring completed work on their video for "Why Don't You Get a Job?" which was directed by McG, the man behind the group's "Pretty Fly (For a White Guy)" clip as well as Sugar Ray's "Every Morning."

The Offspring have also signed on to headline a pair of radio shows as part of its tour, and will play with Everlast, Silverchair, Zebrahead and the Living End at the Summit in Snoqualmie, Washington, on March 27 for KNDD. The next day The Offspring will play with the same groups, minus the Living End while adding Ozomatli to the bill, for WNRK's show at the Armory in Salem, Oregon.
