Reuters reports that a cassette of eight unreleased songs recorded by Noel Gallagher, before the formation of the now-formidable Oasis, is heading to the prestigious Christie's auction house next month.
The thirty minute tape is expected to sell for up to £6,000, or a healthy $10,000. Also being sold are the lyric sheets of two of the songs on the cassette. They could go for £1,500.
The owner of the valuable tape wishes to remain anonymous, but says that they met Noel in 1985 when the musician would eat his lunch at the seller's house, while the Oasis founder was working at a nearby construction sight.
