Liam lives!

That's the official word from both Oasis' U.S. label, Epic Records, as well as its U.K. handler, Creation Records, regarding the not-so-mysterious disappearance and reappearance of band frontman Liam Gallagher over the holiday weekend.

On Monday, the British tabloid "The Mirror" reported that the 26-year-old singer went missing last Friday, just a week before Oasis was to have begun a short U.S. tour with new bassist Andy Bell and new rhythm guitarist Gem.

According to "The Mirror," Liam's brother, guitarist Noel Gallagher, spent the weekend in search of the wayward Liam, who had left home without telling wife Patsy Kensit where he was going.

But a statement released late Monday by Creation Records stated that Liam was not missing and that he was currently in London, doing promotional work for Oasis' new album, "Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants," due out in February.

Epic Records confirmed to MTV News that the band's upcoming dates were still on, and that Liam was expected to appear with Oasis for all four of the U.S. shows, beginning on December 3 in Philadelphia.
