The British bad boys of Oasis won't release their new album, "Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants," until late February, but the band has already taken to the Internet to debut the video for the first single, "Go Let It Out."

Sony Music Europe and the U.K. magazine "New Musical Express" have made the full-length video for "Go Let It Out" available via a special area of Sony's Web site which (for now) can be accessed exclusively though nme.com.

In typical Oasis fashion, the clip pays homage to the band's most obvious influence, The Beatles, and bears a striking resemblance in concept to the Fab Four's 1967 film, "Magical Mystery Tour" (see "Oasis Lets It Out For Psychedelic New Video").

Despite the Gallagher brothers' well documented love for The Beatles, the finished product wasn't exactly to guitarist Noel's liking, and he explained why during Oasis' recent swing through the U.S. for a three-date tour of radio festivals in December.

"Well, to be honest with you," Noel said, "what happened was the director [Nick Egan] decided that he was going to get the singer to work on the idea with him. Now if anybody's in a band out there, one thing you don't do is let the singer have creative input on any f***ing thing, because they're useless."

Noel continued to rail on his bandmate-slash-brother, Liam, with tongue firmly in cheek. "They're good at singing and looking good," he said, "and that's about as far as it goes. So the singer and the director hatched this plan [for the video], and of course it's rubbish." [RealVideo]

It isn't currently known when the video will have its "official" U.S. premiere, but it will most likely happen in late January, just a few weeks before the February 29 release of "Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants."
