Oasis siblings Liam and Noel Gallagher have both recently welcomed newborns into their respective families, and that might make them a little more homesick than normal when the band launches its world tour in Japan later this month.

Because the Gallagher brothers are now married with children, there's been some speculation that Oasis might stop touring altogether after this year and become a studio-only band -- much like the Beatles did after their '66 tour.

But singer Liam Gallagher told MTV News that he'll be having none of that, and that he's actually looking forward to the release of "Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants" and the upcoming road dates.

"I love doing everything," Liam said, "I love the whole thing about being in a band. Playing live, being in a studio, talking with people, doing interviews and that. That's what it's about, isn't it? You can't just be a studio band. I'm not going to be a studio band, no f***ing way. I want to get out there and play, man. That's what it's about."

The Oasis vocalist also suggested that he would likely bring wife Patsy Kensit and their baby boy, Lennon (see "Oasis' Liam Gallagher Names Son After Slain Beatle"), out on the road with him whenever the opportunity presents itself.

"They'll come with us," Liam said. "They'll just pick the spots, which ones they haven't been and which places they haven't been before, like Patsy. And she'll come out and then we'll go. The kid will be there, but he's too young to come here at this time, you know. But next time, I'll have my little boy with me, man." [RealVideo]

Oasis' fourth studio album, "Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants," is due out in the U.S. on February 29, and the video for "Go Let It Out," the first single, has just been added into MTV's rotation.

The band will bring its world tour to North America starting on April 5 for a concert at Seattle's Paramount Theater (see "Oasis Tours North America In April").
