The boy pop confection 98 Degrees is entering the final pre-launch stages for its upcoming album and has finally settled on a title and first single.
Universal Records has announced that the group's next effort will carry the title "Revelation" when it hits stores on September 26.
The boys will take a stab at the lucrative Latin market with the album's first single, "Give Me Just One Night (Una Noche)." The group has already teamed with director Wayne Isham at Mexico's Mayan Ruins to shoot a video for the song, which should start popping up on radio stations later this month.
Universal describes the song as a "Latin-laced up-tempo" number, echoing the prediction of fellow teen popper Jessica Simpson (girlfriend of 98 Degrees' Nick Lachey) who told MTV last month that the new album would carry more up-tempo numbers than the guys' previous work (see "98 Degrees Readies New Album").
The group plans to push "Revelation" with a string of TV appearances including a Disney Concert special, the Teen Choice Awards, MTV's "Making The Video," The Miss Teen Pageant, USTA's Arthur Ashe Kid's Day Concert, and Fox's Summer Music Mania.
