Teen pop heavyweights 98 Degrees and Jessica Simpson teamed up last weekend in Flushing Meadows, New York, for Arthur Ashe Kids Day, the annual kick-off ceremony of tennis' U.S. Open.
Simpson delivered her hit, "I Think I'm in Love," and then joined boyfriend Nick Lachey of 98 Degrees for their duet, "Where You Are."
This year, proceeds from the event went to the National Junior Tennis League, an organization founded in 1969 that aims to bring tennis and education programs to disadvantaged kids.
"I don't want for anything," Simpson told MTV Radio.
In past years, organizers have managed to snag Britney Spears, the Backstreet Boys, and Hanson for Kids Day. Saturday's event marked the fifth Kids Day, and organizers said that the first four editions of the event have raised more than $1.5 million for the NJTL.
