After essentially being in drydock since 1993, the techno dance band New Order is experiencing a bit of a renaissance.
The band saw its cold and distant anthem "Blue Monday" turned into a modern rock hit by Orgy, and now the band stands poised to create its first new material in six years. The band will write music for the upcoming Leonardo DiCaprio flick "The Beach." New Order singer and guitarist Bernard Sumner will also pop up on the Chemical Brothers' new album, "Surrender," which arrives on June 15.
