Despite rumors that have been circulating for the better part of the last two months, No Limit Records reports that Mystikal and Silkk The Shocker are both alive and well and getting ready to push new product.

Phone calls and e-mails have been pouring into the offices of both MTV and No Limit as unfounded rumors of the rappers' deaths have made the rounds since well before Thanksgiving. Many of those spreading the rumors claimed the information came from an MTV News report, however MTV never reported any such story (a point evidenced by even a cursory glance at our MTV News Gallery).

A spokesperson for No Limit told MTV that both rappers are focussing on new albums as Mystikal's "Ghetto Fabulous" is in stores now, and Silkk The Shocker's "Made Man" is due next month.
