The day after Megadeth's new album "Risk" hits stores, the band will take the stage for somewhat more charitable purposes.

On September 1, the band will headline a charity show staged to mark the 15th anniversary of Concrete Marketing, an outfit that specializes in promoting hard rock acts. The show, set for New York's Roseland Ballroom, will feature three acts yet to be announced as well as Megadeth and will see proceeds go to the T.J. Martell Foundation's fight against pediatric AIDS.

Concrete Marketing announced that it is also trying to put together a Black Sabbath jam for the evening, and that it hopes to make the charity show an annual event.

If you missed Megadeth at Woodstock '99, the show marks your last chance to see the band in the States for quite sometime as Megadeth launches a European tour one week later. Fear not, however, as Megadeth plans to kick off a U.S. tour on October 9 in San Diego, California.

Before that, Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine and WCW star Bill Goldberg are planning to stop by MTV's "Total Request Live" on September 1 to pump up the release of "Risk" as well as the upcoming "Universal Soldier" sequel (which stars Goldberg and features the band on its soundtrack).
