After a short reprieve, Matchbox 20 has returned to the road in support of its multi-million debut, "Yourself or Someone Like You," which is still logging time in the Top 20 of the Album charts some two years after its release.
Matchbox 20 is prepping a new single, "Back to Good," and working on video concepts with director Paul Hunter. In an interview with the MTV Radio Network, frontman Rob Thomas talked about how the current tour had interrupted the band's plans to get off the road and into a studio.
"Right before this tour," Thomas said, Thomas continued, "'Yeah, we're going to do it! Yeah, it's fun!' Then all of a sudden we're back to having a good time, which will last probably until a week before this tour is over, and then we'll go back to, 'All right, that's enough. I'm done.' So for now, we're just going to enjoy it." [300k Audio]
Matchbox 20, which is currently on tour with Semisonic and Soul Asylum, will roll out the hits when it plays the Oakdale Theater in Wallingford, Connecticut on Tuesday.
