Will Marilyn Manson soon be tormenting former Bond girl Famke Janssen?
According to a report in Tuesday's edition of "The Hollywood Reporter," Manson is in talks to play the villain in the upcoming remake of "House on Haunted Hill." Janssen is also reportedly in talks to join the cast, which already includes the Oscar-winning star of "Shine," Geoffrey Rush. The film (not to be confused with this year's "The Haunting Of Hill House" from "Speed" director Jan de Bont) is a remake of the 1958 Vincent Price horror gem "House on Haunted Hill" which was directed by famed director William Castle. The remake is slated to be directed by William Malone, whose experience includes horror and sci-fi work on the HBO series "Tales From The Crypt" and "Perversions of Science." The original 1958 film saw five people vying for $10,000 by spending the night in a haunted house. The remake reportedly follows the same conceit, however the reward has been upped to $1 million.
