True to his word, Marilyn Manson has taken to his Web site to answer fan questions via video.

A video message titled "Part II: The Answers," which followed the post titled "Part I: The Album" (see "Manson Moves 'Holy Wood' Date, Preps Tour Plans"), addresses a variety of questions submitted by fans.

Manson started off by denying rumors of a Nine Inch Nails-Marilyn Manson tour. He made it clear, however, that his recently resurrected friendship with Trent Reznor was still in place, and noted that although his part in the well-documented estrangement was more public, the blame was distributed equally and that it took both admitting they were wrong to become friends again.

He also addressed his current falling out with former band members Scott Putesky (a.k.a. Daisy Berkowitz) and Zim Zum, saying that while he didn't appreciate being sued, he was no longer bothered by their behavior. Noting that he had given both a "strong foot in the door," he asked that if the pair were such an important part of Marilyn Manson, why had neither delivered any music on their own since leaving his band.

Manson expressed opinions on Rage Against The Machine ("I don't always agree with their politics, but I respect them for being one of the few protest bands of this era, and I like their music, and I like them, so, I wish them great success") and Eminem ("I chose to work with him because the fact that someone like him has the balls to do what they do helps all of us").

He also told fans he was amused by politicians in election mode who pretend to care about today's youth.

When asked why he didn't attend the recent MTV Music Video Awards, Manson said, "It wasn't really anything this year that I could say I had a reason to believe in, or have a purpose for showing up. I didn't make any videos this year. Last year my video ['Coma White'] was pulled from MTV because of Columbine. It wasn't much for me to support, other than the fact that Eminem had achieved such a great success."
