Nineteen years after Led Zeppelin called it a day following the death of its drummer, John Bonham, the legendary band is preparing to issue its very first greatest hits collection.
November 23 will see the release of "Early Days - The Best Of Led Zeppelin Volume 1." The compilation will feature tracks from the band's first four albums, all selected by former Zeppelin guitarist-producer Jimmy Page. While most Led Zep fans will already have all of the tracks on the album in their own collections, "Early Days" will be an enhanced CD, containing a never-before-seen live performance of "Communication Breakdown" filmed in 1969, making the release a must-have for hardcore fans and neophytes alike. A second collection of Zeppelin hits, titled "Latter Days - The Best Of Led Zeppelin Volume 2," will be released in early 2000. Here's what you'll get on "Early Days":- "Good Times Bad Times"
- "Babe I'm Gonna Leave You"
- "Dazed And Confused"
- "Communication Breakdown"
- "Whole Lotta Love"
- "What Is End What Should Never Be"
- "Immigrant Song"
- "Since I've Been Loving You"
- "Black Dog"
- "Rock And Roll"
- "The Battle Of Evermore"
- "When The Levee Breaks"
- "Stairway To Heaven"
