Fans will have to wait a bit longer for the debut from former Dogg Pound rapper Kurupt, as his "Kuruption" double album -- in which each disc represents a specific coast's hip-hop style, has been pushed back to an October 6 release date.

Kurupt will spend the extra time on a brief promotional tour from September 8 to October 10 to help spread the word about the album, which features an appearance from former Dogg Pound partner Daz Dillinger, as well as production work from Battlecat, Easy Mo Bee and DeVante Swing.

The rapper also plans to release one single from each of "Kuruption's" discs simultaneously, and "We Can Freak It" from the West Coast CD and "Gimmewhutchagot" from the East Coast CD will be the first double A-sides from the album. Next up for Kurupt is a guest spot with Daz on "Bye Bye Baby," the second single from singer TQ.
