December 31 [13:00 EDT] -- KRS-One is set to pump new life into his Temple Of Hip-Hop, and will mark the campaign with a show this weekend featuring Big Daddy Kane, Cold Crush Brothers, and Common Sense among others.
The MCs will hit Tramps in New York on Friday for a full-scale old school-style event featuring graffiti art and breakdancing in addition to live performances.
The show will actually come one day after KRS-One begins canvassing the hip-hop community with questionnaires in an attempt, as his management team phrases it, to "create a political hip-hop voice, compose a legitimate hip-hop philosophy, and document hip-hop's cultural codes."
Through similar questionnaires distributed at concerts and with his latest album, KRS-One has already gotten feedback from some 100,000 hip-hop fans.
