Could Kiss be bucking for an Oscar?
Maybe, as the band has hooked up with songwriter Diane Warren, the woman who penned the Academy Award nominated "I Don't Want To Miss A Thing" for Aerosmith, for a track for the upcoming film "Detroit Rock City." The song, "Nothing Can Keep Me From You," also sees Kiss team with Grammy winning Producer of the Year Rob Cavallo, the man at the boards for Alanis Morissette's "Uninvited" as well as the Goo Goo Dolls' album "Dizzy Up The Girl." "It is a brand new song," Cavallo told the MTV Radio Network. "It is so emotional and fantastic and Paul sings so awsome on it... it's amazing. And it rocks. You know, it's in the spirit of 'Beth.' It's in the spirit of these great big power ballads that they can do. So it was really fun to work with them."
